David Massie   brown line

David Massie – Chairman and CEO

David has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and, as well as his advisory work, has acted as Chairman of a number of publicly quoted and privately owned companies.  He has worked throughout Europe and North and South America and has been ranked as one of the “Outstanding Chairmen in the United Kingdom” in relation to his non-executive roles.

As well as leading the Company, David acts for, and has acted as adviser to, the United Kingdom Government, several overseas governments and enjoys a close relationship with numerous companies in the mining, financial and aviation sectors.  He leads IAF Capital’s advisory activities for unquoted companies and the natural resource sector.

Gary Pinkerton – Director

Gary qualified as a chartered accountant and has previously worked at Smith & Williamson Securities, Natwest Securities, Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank and Marshall Securities.  Gary has a track record in flotations of companies from small cap to FTSE 350 companies and spearheads IAF Capital’s regulatory compliance team.

Charles Laughton – Corporate Broker

Charles graduated from the University of Exeter in 2002 reading Business and Economics. He has over 10 years of broking experience and has been instrumental in numerous IPOs, secondary fundraising and private transactions. He brings excellent relationships with institutional clients, VCTs and private equity firms. He joins IAF Capital from Old Park Lane where he was the director of the broking division; previous to this he worked for Northland Capital Partners.

Pamela Huang – Corporate Finance Manager

Pamela (Pan Pan) worked for various Private Equity, Investment Banking and commercial banks in China before travelling to the UK for post-graduate studies. She graduated from the University of York with an MSc in Economics and Finance in 2014. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English, and has a knowledge of Cantonese.

At IAFC Pamela works as part of the corporate finance team with special responsibility for relationships with Chinese banks, investment companies and the many commercial companies and EPC contractors that IAFC regularly works with.
