Directors
David Massie - Chairman and CEO
David is a former banker who has held directorships in a variety of sectors, both publicly quoted and privately owned and has worked throughout Europe, North and South America. His direct experience includes not only financial services but property, mining, aviation, international trading and leisure. He has been active in the smaller company sector for over 25 years and was recently named as one of the "outstanding" chairmen in the 2008 Directorbank survey in relation to his non-executive roles.
Gary Pinkerton - Director
Gary qualified as a chartered accountant with Smith & Williamson Securities, an accountancy practice with a private bank and fund management business. He joined Natwest Securities in 1995 and became part of the corporate broking team, where he advised a number of FTSE 350 companies. He subsequently joined Marshall Securities where he was involved in a number of small-cap flotations and company restructurings on the Official List and AIM.
John Colley - Partner
John specialises in the Technology sector, encompassing IT Services, Software, Telecoms Services, Outsourcing and Clean Technology. After five years as an army officer, John joined Hoare Govett Corporate Finance before joining WestLB where he first specialised in the Building Materials sector and since 1998 in Technology Services. John subsequently joined SG Cowen (Société Générale's US-based Technology Investment Bank) where he led the European Mergers & Acquisitions team in Technology Services. John has a strong focus on the European Technology market with extensive personal contacts particularly with a number of major US Technology companies.
Anthony Blaiklock - Partner
Anthony is a qualified accountant subsequently spending 18 years with Samuel Montagu and its successor company, HSBC Investment Bank, where he was responsible for over 100 corporate finance transactions including flotations, acquisitions, rights issues, disposals, financial restructurings and takeover bids. Anthony joined Deloitte & Touche as a partner in October 2000 and in 2002 he left to set up his own corporate finance business.
